Don’t Grow Weary

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9-KJV

The verse acknowledges that doing good can become tiring and discouraging. Faithfulness often requires endurance before results are visible.

There is a promise attached to perseverance: a harvest will come. God sees every act of obedience, integrity, kindness, and service, even when others do not.

Timing matters; this scripture says “at the proper time.” The condition is persistence: “if we do not give up.” Weariness can tempt us to quit just before a breakthrough.

Reflection:

The harvest may not always come in the form we expect, but God promises that perseverance is never wasted.

Where have I become weary or discouraged recently?

Am I focused more on immediate results than long-term faithfulness?

What would it look like to continue doing good without losing heart?

Gracious Father, thank you for the knowledge that our strength is found in you. Adonai, we are asking for you to strengthen us when we grow weary.

Help us to remain faithful when we don’t see results when and how we want to see them. Father, please continue to remind us through Your Word and the Holy Spirit that You are working all things for our good and that every act of obedience matters. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
