It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.-Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)

Life often comes with mistakes, disappointments, setbacks, and seasons that don’t go as planned. Yet this passage reminds us that God is not keeping score of our failures. He is extending new mercy each day.

Our performance- God’s mercy is the reason we are sustained. His compassion never runs out or fails.

Our perfection- Every day brings a fresh supply of God’s grace.

Our circumstances-God’s faithfulness is constant, regardless of our circumstances.

As you begin this new month, write down one burden, regret, or fear that you’ve been carrying. Surrender it to God in prayer and replace it with a promise from His Word.

As we begin this new month, we should:

Write down one burden, regret, or fear that you’ve been carrying.

Surrender them to God in prayer and replace them with a promise from His Word.

Gracious Father,

Thank You for your mercy and compassion. Thank You that your faithfulness is not limited by our failures or circumstances.

As we enter this new month, help us to release what is behind and embrace the fresh grace that you provide daily. We thank you that your mercies renew every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.

Teach us to trust your faithfulness, walk in your peace, and live with confidence in your promises. Let this month be marked by growth, purpose, and deeper awareness of and dependence upon you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
